Pathway Mentor Interviews

Monday 17 August or Tuesday 18 August

Main Hall

Booking link will be emailed 12 August

All Year 10 students have now received their Yellow SET Plan Form during CARE class.

This form is an important part of the Year 11 and 12 subject selection process and should be kept somewhere safe, as students will need to bring it to their Pathway Mentor interview in 2 weeks’ time.

What's on the form?

• Recommended Study Pathway, English and Mathematics allocations based on student achievement to date.

• An indication of science eligibility based on Semester 1 Science results.

• The allocated Pathway Mentor who will support your child through the SET Plan process & meet with you for the parent teacher interview.

These recommendations reflect both students' current achievement levels and the academic demands of senior subjects. They are intended to guide students towards courses in which they are most likely to experience success.

We understand that individual circumstances vary. If you would like to discuss a different allocation, direct your student to see the relevant Head of Department or you can discuss it during the Pathway Mentor interview.

Exploring subject options

The reverse side of the form lists all available:

ATAR subjects

Applied subjects

VET courses

All subjects are thoroughly explained in the Subject Guide linked HERE. We encourage you to look through this together and begin discussing possible subject choices and future pathways.

Need help?

If your student was absent today, they are to collect their form from their CARE teacher. If there is an error on their form, they should visit Y Block as soon as possible. We look forward to partnering with you and your child as they begin planning for their senior years and future pathways.
