Celebrating Excellence at the 2025 PBC Boys Rugby League REDS Awards
PBC’s Boys Rugby League Excellence Program came together on Tuesday, 14 October 2025, to celebrate the achievements of its students at the annual REDS Awards.
The evening recognised players who have demonstrated commitment, teamwork and integrity — the hallmarks of true REDS spirit — both on and off the field throughout the season.
PBC Rugby League REDS Award Recipients
Year 7: Zane Clifford
Year 8: Beau Windus
Year 9: Rico Ford
Year 10: Max Imrie
Year 11: Ethan Alcorn
Year 12: Taj Lateo
In addition to the annual awards, Year 12 students who have shown exceptional dedication to the program since Year 7 were presented with Rugby League REDS Long Service Awards, recognising their six years of commitment to the PBC Rugby League Excellence Program.

Long Service Award Recipients
Marlie Barry, Tom Batchelor, Levi Handyside, Aston Hue, Taj Lateo, Marley McLaren, Nelson Makaafi, Malakai Mosaati, Sean Pearson, Brodie Saunders, Ned Tanner and Jake Wardley.
The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the 2025 Craig Weston Medal, awarded to the Best and Fairest player in the Open A’s team, as voted by the coaching staff after each game. Named in honour of PBC’s first-ever NRL player, the award recognises consistent excellence, leadership and sportsmanship throughout the season.
This year’s recipient, Antonio Verhoeven, joins an impressive list of past winners and current NRL players including Tom Dearden (Cowboys), Toby Sexton (Bulldogs), Xavier Willison (Broncos) and Keano Kini (Titans).
The event was a proud celebration of the talent, dedication and REDS spirit that define PBC Rugby League.
