Building Resilience, Together
As we recognise Mental Health Week 2025 (October 6–10), our school community is joining thousands across the country in shining a light on the importance of mental well-being for all—especially our young people.
This year’s theme, "Building Resilience, Together," reminds us that mental health is not just an individual journey, but a shared responsibility. When schools, families, and communities work together, we create a powerful support system that helps students thrive—both emotionally and academically.
Why Mental Health Week Matters
Mental health affects how we think, feel, and act. It plays a role in how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. For students, good mental health supports:
Better learning and academic success
Stronger relationships with peers and adults
Healthy coping skills for everyday challenges
Recognising signs of stress, anxiety, or depression early and knowing where to turn for help can make a huge difference.
What’s Happening This Week?
Throughout Mental Health Week, we’ll be hosting activities (FLOW STATE Program) and discussions aimed at raising awareness, reducing stigma, and encouraging open conversations about mental health. Some of our events include:
Mindfulness & Meditation Sessions during CARE
Wellness Wall: Students can share uplifting messages or coping tips.
