Applications for all Excellence Programs are now open.
Academic Excellence: Students entering Year 7 in 2026 must sit an exam. For Years 8–10, selection is based on an individual assessment of school reports, competition achievements, and NAPLAN results—no exam is required.
Creative Arts Excellence: Applicants for Music, Dance, or Drama must submit auditions, while those applying for Visual Arts Excellence must provide samples of their artwork.
Sports Excellence: Applicants must participate in trials for their chosen sport. Trial dates and times will be emailed after the application is submitted.

Academic Excellence:
- (YR7 2026) To be eligible to sit the exam applications close on the 14th March 2025
- (YR8-10 2026) Entry is by application at any time throughout the year, subject to places being available.
Creative Arts Excellence:
- (YR7 2026) Applications close on the 14th April
- (YR8-10 2026) Entry is by application and online audition/portfolio at any time throughout the year, subject to places being available.
- Kayak/Surf League (YR7 2026) Applications close on the 11th April 2025
- All other Sports: (YR7 2026) Round 1 Applications close on the 16th May 2025
- All Sports (YR8-12 2026) Applications close on the 18th July 2025
How to Apply
To submit your application Via Email: - Download the following documents;
a) Selective Entry Application: Academic / Sports / Music / Dance / Art / Dramab) Student Enrolment Application (only fill out if in Catchment)Once completed, save all forms and supporting documents as a PDF named in the following format: SURNAME (in capitals), First Name (e.g., BLOGGS, Joe).
If your document is too large to send as a single PDF, split it into two and name them as follows:
- SURNAME, First Initial, Program, Part 1
- SURNAME, First Initial, Program, Part 2
If you are unable to submit your application via email, please bring all documentation and lodge it at the Main Reception.
