PBC’s Sustainability Committee is made up of a dedicated group of students who are passionate about the environment and committed to making our school a more sustainable place.
The committee meets weekly to share ideas, discuss environmental challenges, and plan initiatives that promote positive change within the school community.
Through their leadership and creativity, the committee plays an important role in driving grassroots sustainability efforts at PBC. Students take an active role in identifying opportunities for improvement, developing new projects, and raising awareness among their peers about environmental responsibility.
The Sustainability Committee is currently exploring several exciting future projects, including:
Transitioning to more sustainable cleaning products
Documenting native flora and fauna species found on campus
Tree planting and the establishment of a school vegetable garden
Creating native bee hives to support local biodiversity
Setting up a collection point for hard-to-recycle items such as batteries and soft plastics
By empowering students to take the lead in environmental action, PBC continues to strengthen its culture of sustainability and responsibility — shaping environmentally conscious leaders for the future.
