RISE EVERY DAY STRONGER
Track & Field is not about the result, it is about the experience. Track & Field is about the endeavour and struggle, for the pride and the honour. It is about discovering yourself. It is about developing skills that enable you to become a better person. It is about camaraderie and mateship and developing healthy lifestyle habits.
It is about learning respect for the opposition, coaches, officials and oneself. It disciplines the mind to overcome adversity, endure hard work, persevere through failure and control pressure. It builds confidence, raises self esteem and gives one self worth. It fosters the virtues of support, cooperation, empathy, tolerance and acceptance.
But most importantly, it is about doing something you enjoy with others who share that passion and having fun!
And this is what we strive to foster and build our Sports Excellence program.
