RISE EVERY DAY STRONGER
The Female AFL program at Palm Beach Currumbin has gone from strength to strength since its inception in 2018. Having won back to back State Junior titles in 2019 and 2020, and State Senior Champions in 2020 the REDS have become a force to be reckoned with in the AFL Schools of Excellence and Q Schools Cup competition.
With a proven pathway to elite AFL programs such as the SUNS Academy along with the opportunity to play against other excellence schools and have a comprehensive training and development program.
Each week consists of 3 training sessions, giving students the chance to work on skill development, craft, tactical awareness and game knowledge. Students also undertake an extensive strength & conditioning program with weekly Long Term Athletic Development sessions devised by our specialist coaches.
Our aim is to prepare students to improve their skills across all aspects of the sport as well as ensuring their holistic development in all areas of their schooling. The PBC Female AFL program has become synonymous with success in growing good footballers and better people. The REDS girls approach every session with the aim to continually improve and to bring high standards of effort and enthusiasm to each class.
The program allows opportunities for Year 7-12 girls to participate, improve and develop their skills, work on their mental & physical preparedness as well as developing their resilience, leadership and teamwork.
