Phil McNamara

​Blair has been a teacher and High performance Surf Coach since 2005. During this time his roles have included;
  • Coaching and managing school, regional, state and national teams; 
  • President of QLD School Surfing 
  • President of Australian School Surfing.
  • Surfing Australia School Representative for event management at Australian Junior Titles
  • Level 2 and Elite coaching and level 3 judging certificate
  • Continually developing a successful High Performance Surfing Excellence program at PBC

​Ben has been a teacher and High performance Surf Coach since 1998. During this time his roles have included;

  • Continually developing a successful High Performance Surfing Excellence program at PBC since 2003
  • Coaching school, regional, state and national teams; and individual athletes up to and including WCT level
  • State coaching director
  • President of Australian School Surfing
  • Level 2 and Elite coaching and level 3 judging certificate
  • Delivering coaching and judging courses
  • State board member




​Phil began his involvement in high performance surf coaching in 1994. He soon became involved at school, state and a national level. Before his athletes outgrew these boundaries and went on to excel on the world stage. During his time his achievements have included;

  • Coaching Mick Fanning to 3 WORLD TITLES
  • Coaching and Mentoring many world tour and world junior athletes
  • Continually developing a successful High Performance Surfing Excellence program at PBC 
  • Coaching school, regional, state and national teams; and individual athletes up to and including WCT Champions
  • State coaching director
  • Level 2 and Elite coaching level
  • Delivering and developing a range of coaching resources/programs
