The Pathways Centre can provide information about many nationally recognised and accredited courses for students in Years 10, 11 and 12.
On completion of a course, students receive a Statement of Attainment in addition to gaining valuable skills and knowledge that will make them more employable.
Courses generally available include:
- Responsible Service of Alcohol
- Responsible Gaming Service
- OHS Safety Induction Card
A reduced course fee or discount may be applicable to those students who apply to undertake a course through the Pathways Centre.
Students are encouraged to register their interest in any of the courses currently on offer by completing a Registration Form and submitting to the Pathways Centre.
Courses Currently Available
A General Construction Induction (White Card) course needs to be successfully completed by anyone working in construction in QLD, NSW, VIC, WA & SA. Students requiring work placement, a school-based or full time apprenticeship trial in the building and construction industry must complete this.

Currumbin Wildlife Aussie Wildlife Course
The Aussie Wildlife Course is an introductory course developed to train enthusiastic members of our community to provide emergency care for sick, injured or orphaned native wildlife. This course will provide knowledge for those students interested in pursuing a career in veterinary nursing or the wildlife industry
- Course duration - 8 weeks
- 2 nights per week for 2.5 hours (days tbc)
- Course available to adults and 14-18 year olds who have parent/guardian permission
