Transition Day for Current Year 6 students enrolling at PBC for Year 7 in 2022
Transition Day will be Monday 6 December 2021.
Students need to be fully enrolled by Friday 12 November to be part of the day.
At PBC, we are all part of CARE Classes (mixed groups of 7s, 8s and 9s with a special teacher who cares for us) and CORE classes (the compulsory subjects of Maths, Science, English, Humanities and HPE). On Transition Day, you will meet your new classes and some of your new teachers. You’ll learn how to find your way around the school, and the names and faces of people who can help you next year. You will also have some lessons introducing you to work you’ll do next year.
Wear your primary school uniform on Transition Day. Pack your lunch or canteen money, a water bottle, hat and pens.
On Transition Day, students all go to the Hall. Student leaders at the gates will help direct you there. From the Hall, you will be escorted to your new classes. Your class will play some games to help you find your way around. You will also have a taste of what lessons will be like next year.
