To support a smooth transition to the new One2One MacBook Program, students in Years 8, 9, 11, and 12 already participating in the One2One Laptop Program will remain in the One2One Program under existing arrangements.
Students currently enrolled in the One2One Laptop Program will not be able to move into the 1:1 School-Managed MacBook Program earlier than their designated entry year/natural transition point. This approach ensures consistency for students and families and supports an orderly transition between programs.
Please note: Program arrangements may continue to change during the transition period. Families will be advised of the arrangements that apply to their child’s year level and cohort.
One2One Pro-Rata Laptop Program- 2027 Students
Students enrolling at PBC SHS in Years 8, 9, 11 and 12 in 2027 may apply to join the existing One2One Device Program through a Pro-Rata Laptop arrangement.
A Pro-Rata Laptop is a pre-owned school laptop that matches the model and age of the devices currently being used by students in the same year level.
As the One2One Laptop Program is being phased out by 2029 and therefore only a limited number of Pro-Rata laptops are available. Submission of this application does not guarantee that a device will be available. The Information Technology Department will review each application and confirm whether a suitable device can be allocated.
