Registrations are now open for the 2023 Academic
Bootcamps. Designed to help Year 12 students prepare for their external exams

We can't wait to welcome students and family members to Open Day this year. For the first time, QUT is offering students an opportunity to explore both Gardens Point and Kelvin Grove campuses! QUT has a personalised open day planner for students to plan their schedule, navigate the campuses and win some prizes!

Offer guarantee
With QUT's offer guarantee, your students can know for sure that they will be accepted into their course before they receive their offer.
- If a student receives an ATAR or selection rank equal to or higher than the offer guarantee, they are guaranteed a place in the course regardless of the final threshold determined each January.
The offer guarantee applies whether a student is in Year 12, have taken a gap year, or applying to QUT a few years after finishing school.

This is a two-week intensive program run 8 – 19 January 2024. Units available include - science; climate change; information technology; engineering and architecture. High-achieving Year 11 students entering Year 12 in 2024 have an opportunity to undertake a first-year STEM unit over the summer holidays.

Science Week Hackathon

The Faculty of Science is hosting a friendly competition for high school students in years 9 and 10. Attendees will work in small teams alongside QUT students and industry mentors to develop creative solutions to presented problems.
Course Updates
New Engineering vertical doubles are being offered in 2024. A vertical double degree means students will graduate with a 'Bachelor and Master' degree within five years. Year 12 students can list any of the following in their QTAC application this year!
