The PBC Alliance is a school initiative, offering local businesses, individuals and past students the opportunity to help Palm Beach Currumbin State High School support current students to achieve their potential. We aim to continue building a positive and community focused local network of businesses, alumni and community-minded parents and individuals.
We are seeking support and engagement from local businesses, parents and alumni to ensure the Palm Beach Currumbin area continues to evolve as an inspiring and supportive community.
The PBC Alliance is committed to:
- Creating opportunities for local business promotion and networking
- Enriching curriculum through local business support
- Attracting traineeships and apprenticeships opportunities for PBC students
- Capturing additional financial, physical and human resources, products and services to enhance student activities and experiences.

How to get involved?
Partnership
By becoming a PBC Alliance Partner you can directly contribute to helping Palm Beaach Currumbin State High ensure the young people of Palm Beach Currumbin strive to meet their potential. In return for your support, we offer tailored marketing packages for your business to recognise and highlight your contribution and support of our students and wider communities.

How can you contribute?
Student Support
- Provision of school-based traineeships/apprenticeships/work experience opportunities to PBC students
- Provision of awards, bursaries or scholarships for students
- Provision of coaching or training to students that participate in our excellence programs and other programs
Sponsorship
Part or full sponsorship of a project or endeavour at PBC. This includes donating funds or providing in-kind support for resource provision.
Partnership levels
Platinum: $10,000 + (negotiated)
Gold: $5,000 - $9,999
Silver: $2,000 - $4,999
Bronze: $1,000 - $1,999
Reds Supporter: $100-$999
Membership
PBC Alliance Membership is just $25 for a full calendar year and is available for those looking to get involved with this great school initiative without committing to a Partnership.
Alliance partners and members receive a listing in our PBC Alliance Business Directory please a listing in The Red Pages and all communications from the Alliance including invitations to our popular business networking breakfasts, and other events plus regular Alliance Link Newsletters (6-8 per year). If you would like to list your business click here to complete the application form and submit it online. Please then forward your business logo to Ann-Louise Hovey at alliance@pbc-shs.eq.edu.au.
Alliance business networking breakfasts are held once a term (4 times a year) and are a fantastic opportunity to network with like-minded business people, celebrate student success and be entertained and informed by fantastic guest speakers. There is also a fun social occasion each year for our community to get together to raise further funds to help our students reach their full potential. These include a cocktail party, gala dinner or soiree's held at the school. We also regularly offer golf days at Palm Meadows which are a great day for connecting and networking with others.

Corporate Membership is FREE. If you are one of our Pathways partners, providing a Traineeship or Apprenticeship to one of our students, membership is complimentary. Please click here submit a form to have your listing included in our directory and no payment will be required.
