Gabriel Yagi Vannucchi – Brazil Semester 2 2024
My experience at PBC was very good. I liked it a lot mainly because of the people there. Everyone was respectful and nice to me, not just the students, the teachers and staff were very nice.
It is the biggest school I have ever been to and super recommend that school to other students.
Shui Maniwa – Japan studied for 5 years
When I came to Australia, I wasn’t fluent in English but everyone was very friendly and kind to me. My friend who was sitting next to me in class always helped me, she shared her notes and pens and always explained what I couldn’t understand. Time goes on and when I started becoming more fluent in English, I had more fun with friends at school and I could aim for good marks in my subjects. I really appreciate all the teachers and friends who have helped me so much. They never gave up on explaining what I didn’t know and my friends never left me out. My experience at PBC could not have been better and I am so grateful and glad to be able to graduate with all of them.
Guendalina Arata- Italy Semester 2 2024
My experience at PBC was amazing. I enjoyed every moment and I’d love to spend more time here. The subjects that I chose were really nice and every class enjoyable. Every teacher has been really nice and whenever I needed help, they were ready to help me. I made lots of friends, international and Australian students, thanks to the soccer team and every experience and activities that this school and its international program offers.
At the same time, I think it was nice also because of the international coordinators who were really nice and available to help.
Sayuri Dang – Japan 1 year 2024
It was an amazing experience for me to be at PBC. The first week being here was stressful and lonely but thanks to the friendly teachers and classmates, I was able to enjoy it more than I have ever thought. There were stressful times during exams but in the end, I felt like I was able to learn so much. I made friends and became part of a big friend group. Everything felt so fast and I wish I could stay longer at PBC. If I had a chance to stay longer I definitely would. I loved my time here!
Julia Browne Chile Semester 2 2024
My experience at PBC was really good. It was a different experience from my school in Chile, bigger and more relaxed. I really enjoyed having the beach near the school. At the beginning I was a bit lost, but with time I started to get used to everything. I really liked having a lot of international students who were in the same situation, getting to know everything. I also liked having Australian students
who knew everything about the school. I really had fun in my classes with my different subjects, going to the beach in school periods. It was amazing!
Hakuto Ikeda – Japan 1 year 2024
I have experienced many things here. I could not speak English well, but a lot of people supported me to learn. I made many friends here and I have made lots of memories. I spent lunch time with them and played volleyball at the hall after school. They were always kind to me.
The classes were sometimes difficult, but I built a good relationship with my teachers by communicating and got good grades. I really enjoyed the Sydney trip to Sydney for the International program. It was one of the most memorable moment in Australia. I had a wonderful experience.
Elena Provensal – France April – Sept 2024
I arrived at the beginning of Term 2. When I arrived, I understood absolutely nothing, I had a very weak level of English, but despite that Corinne and Marissa and the other international students made my time easier whilst supporting me in my progress. I was placed with a host family and unfortunately, I did not match with them, but by discussing with my organisation, my parents and Corinne I was able to transfer to another host family. In my new host family, I found myself incredibly well and I thank them for everything. It helped me socialise with other international students who became my friends and with whom I lived unforgettable moments. My mother visited me just before starting Term 3 but it was a very bad idea because even though the first goodbye was easy the second was very painful. I advise traveling with your parents before or after this kind of experience. During term 3 I made other friends and I was able to do very different but equally incredible things that will make me never forget them. To summarise, this experience was more than enriching and it will remain forever engraved in my memory. It allowed me to get out of my comfort zone and discover qualities that I did not think I had. I’m currently extremely sad to leave but I plan to see my friends again and return to Australia.
Victoria Rossi – Italy Semester 2 2024
I really enjoyed my experience at PBC, it couldn’t have been better. I made new friends and met fantastic people I will always remember. Students and teachers were really friendly, helpful and supportive whenever I struggled with homework or language. I chose and attended new subjects and classes that I never tried before. I discovered new interesting things that I couldn’t have learnt in my Italian school. I had the best times during all the international trips, spending time around Australia, visiting new places with new friends from all over the world. I’ll keep everything and everyone in my heart forever.
Lilli Lacher – Germany Semester 2 2024
Corinne and Marissa were the biggest support during this whole time. Always having and answer for every problem. I’m beyond grateful for them.
The whole international community was beautiful and will be missed. Even though the start at PBC was a bit difficult it turned out to be the best experience ever.
Thank you I don’t want to leave.
Tessa Tripcke – Germany - Jan 2024 - 6 months
When I first came here I was shocked about how big the school was and how manty people were there. I thought I wouldn't find friends but I did. On the first day of school I met lots of people and everyone was so nice. The teachers were nice and asked me if they needed to slow down when speaking. All the subjects were fine and I had no problems in any exams. I found friends in nearly every class which helped me to involve myself.
Viktoria Redaelli – Germany July 23 - 12 months
I had an amazing experience at PBC. I was really lucky to have made such amazing friendships with Australian and international students.. Everyone made me feel like home.
Subjects like Aquatics are a great experience because we have nothing like that back home. The tennis excellence program helped me to improve my skills and to experience Tournaments against other nationalities on a different surface. It is breaking my heart that I have to leave and I will forever be grateful for this experience.
Georgia Grosso – Italy Jan 2024 – 6 months
I chose some subjects I'd love to do but could not do in Italy and I really enjoyed them. The thing I loved the most was being able to surf during school time. The people were lovely and the school looks like a private school, its beautiful.
Julia Kripka – Brazil Jan 24 – 6 months
It was the best experience of my whole life and it will stay in my memories forever. I recommend everybody to do this because it is a way to know yourself better and be independent. The school PBC is amazing and it was my fist choice. The students at the school are very kind and nice to the international students because they are used to them. The teachers are very helpful and they give a lot of time to do assignments and exams. It is a big school and in the beginning I got lost but then I likes it so much and felt like I was in a movie. The international coordinator Corinne is awesome and I will miss her so much.
Emma – Italy Jan – 6 months
I've spent a lot of beautiful time at this school and I've met a lot of nice people. Most of the teachers are great and helpful. The Orientation is great.
Lillian – Germany July 23 – June 24 - 12 months
The international program was a lot of fun for me. Our international coordinator was very welcoming and gave us a lot of support especially in the first few weeks. If you didn't know what to do , you always had a safe place to go in the international office. It was a big change in the school system for me. The wide ranging choice of subjects was one of the best experiences for me. Surfing, sailing, soccer as subjects .. PBC has something for everyone.
Fernando Arias – Spain 3 months July 2024
In general my experience at PBC has been great. I reckon that all the students and teachers have welcomed me so happily to this amazing country. Apart from that, my host family has been great. They have been supportive in everything I've done. They are kind, grateful and all the positive adjectives that I can imaging. As for the country , Australia, it is one of the most beautiful countries I've ever visited. As for it's capital, Sydney I would say it is my favourite city. Thanks to Corinne and Marissa, my days at PBC have been less stressful. Thanks to them I could enjoy all my at PBC, they always answered all my questions with a smile. So thank you.
