Learn to Surf and Water Safety Assessments
We offer students the opportunity to do Learn to Surf lessons in Term 1, 2 & 4 . These lessons are conducted by a Surfing company who will provide the surf boards and wet suits. The lessons are 1 hour in duration and are normally conducted over an 8 week period at a cost of approx. $23.00 per lesson. These lessons take place outside of school time and students will be notified of the schedule times when they register.
Water Safety Assessments
To ensure all students are safe in the water whilst on their program we will be conducting a Water Safety Assessments when they arrive. Once the student has passed all the water safety requirements they will be able to enter the water. If a student does not meet the water safety requirement they will be notified and cautioned about accessing beach activities.
