8/12/2014
A huge congratulations to PBC student Emily Ireland who has been selected as one of 70 Queensland students to win the Premier Campbell Newman’s Anzac Prize.

Emily will be taking part in the historic Anzac Centenary commemoration at Gallipoli in 2015 and touring Turkey, Belgium and France with a chaperone for two weeks from 22 April 2015.

Entrants to the competition were asked to produce an original, 2-5 minute multimedia presentation exploring how the Anzac tradition has shaped Australia, why it’s still important and how future generations can keep the tradition alive.

Emily received her award from The Hon. Jann Stuckey State Member for Currumbin and the Queensland Minister for Tourism, Major Events, Small Business and the Commonwealth Games, and Executive Principal Stephen Loggie.
